St. Francis Friesians is a small private breeding, boarding and training facility dedicated to breeding fine quality horses suitable for a variety of disciplines.  We specialize in FPS/FHANA registered pure Dutch Friesian Horses and for saddle and carriage.

We currently also have mini’s  for driving and are soon adding Andalusions to our program.  We run a special non-profit riding program for youth at our ranch as well.

Utilizing specialized training methods that employ gentleness and the traditional Native American philosophy of trust and companionship; horses at St. Francis become solid partners for their owners and have confidence in themselves.

We have over 38 years of experience in mare care, foaling, ground training and saddle gentling.  Our foaling services provide mares with excellent care and 24/7 monitoring to help insure a healthy and safe foaling experience.

Our primary breed is the traditional Noble Dutch Bred Royal Horses of Holland- THE FRIESIAN .  We breed very carefully .  We have horses available for sale occasionally.
